Wisconsin is having one of its worst seasons ever on the football field. Sitting now at 2-6 and listed as the worst offense in the Power 4. It's a miserable year to be a Wisconsin fan, and then hearing the athletic director, Chris McIntosh, say that they plan to just run it back next year with Fickell is discouraging. There's no one who is using their platform more to criticize these decisions than Dan Kats, aka Big Cat of Barstool.
Recently, On3.com posted a link to a video of Big Cat going off on Wisconsin's leadership: "The culture is broken!" Listen below:

“It's going to take time to rebuild this, and it's not gonna be Luke Fickell and Chris McIntosh... Going another year down this road is just delaying it”

Wisconsin fans are vocally frustrated with UW leadership and the direction of the football program

He passes the blame around the leadership at Wisconsin. He doesn't just blame Luke Fickell —there's plenty of that —but also Chris McIntosh and even the Chancellor at Wisconsin, Jennifer Mnookin. "I don't think they've fully grasped how behind they are, right now, in the new college football landscape. Every second they keep their head in the sand, they are only getting further and further behind."
Big Cat is not alone in this thought process; in fact, he could be argued to represent the majority of Wisconsin fans. They are done with Luke Fickell and now Chris McIntosh, and they want so badly for Wisconsin leadership to take action. If Fickell was showing promise and even showing that the team could be competitive, that would be one thing, but they are not even close to even the middle-tier Big Ten teams.
Right now, Wisconsin is considered the worst team in the Big Ten and arguably the worst team in the Power 4, and while coaches are being fired left and right this season, Wisconsin is standing pat, and it's hard for Wisconsin fans to think that the leadership even cares.
