Braelon Allen is in elite company in a stat that was just posted by CBS Sports. It's the most rushing yards in NFL history before a certain age. The former Badger has found his name at the top of the list because he is the highest rusher before the age of 21. The rest of the list is mostly all-time greats like Clinton Portis, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, and even Walter Payton.

Allen responded to the tweet on social media by saying, "I gotta say this is pretty sweet. Excited for what's to come." He is in elite company with his 334 yards in his one rookie season. What makes it super special is that he did it as a 20-year-old.

Braelon Allen has more yards than any other running back at before 21 years old

It's one more example for Wisconsin fans that Wisconsin continues to be RBU—the factory that continues to produce elite running backs year after year. Some of the best NFL running backs have come out of Wisconsin, like Montee Ball and James White, and even some of the current ones, like Jonathan Taylor and Braelon Allen.

In his one season with the New York Jets, Allen rushed for 334 yards on 92 carries with two touchdowns. It's crazy that he was able to perform at this level for a team that struggled to compete. Yet, the sky is the limit for the now 21-year-old. He is looking to build off his rookie campaign and maybe help the Jets be somewhat more formidable in 2025.
