Wisconsin has added a big boy at center to protect new quarterback Colton Joseph, and now they've added an explosive weapon for him to throw to. The newest Badger out of the transfer portal is Shamar Rigby, a junior wide receiver who was one of the best receiving threats for Oklahoma State last season. He's now coming back to the Big Ten to catch passes from Joseph.

Shamar Rigby started as a true freshman at Purdue but saw limited action for a struggling offense and a terrible team. He had 11 receptions for 113 yards on the season, but he had a lot of tools in his toolbox, and he knew it. He went to Oklahoma State and became one of their best receivers. Once again, in a struggling offense, his growth and ability made him a great weapon.

As a Cowboy, he caught 25 balls for 351 yards and a touchdown. This doesn't sound all that exciting, but he was Oklahoma State's third leading receiver, and the player in front of him had less than 20 yards more than him. So, he was considered one of their best weapons.

His ability to make contested catches and even take the top off a defense is underrated. He has big-play potential but needs to find an offense that will use him. There's a strong chance he comes in and takes over the role Trech Kekauna left.

He actually was part of a trick play for the Cowboys last season in which he threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to fellow receiver Rodney Fields Jr. against Houston. He's a fun player and someone Wisconsin fans should be very excited about.
