Diego Pavia is becoming a notorious trash-talker. Vanderbilt had one good year in college football, and all of a sudden, he's ready to declare the SEC the NFL. The other day, Pavia had a quote land on social media thanks to On3.com, but it originally came from "Bussin' With The Boys," a YouTube show where he clowned on the Big Ten. Yet, fans were quick to remind him of the last time he played a Big Ten team, a whopping put on by the Wisconsin Badgers.

Diego Pavia hasn't played a Big Ten team since 2022, when he was the quarterback for New Mexico State. He took such a beating and his team got smoked 66-7 that he must have blacked that game out of his memory. Fans don't forget so when he decided to smack-talk the Big Ten, fans were quick to point out the time Wisconsin dominated him.

It's a game Pavia would want to forget with an underwhelming stat line and a performance that saw him benched. Wisconsin did not let him breathe, couldn't let him get comfortable, and had zero success. So it's bold of him to say, "The SEC, it’s like week after week. You’re going to get beat on. The Big Ten, you’re not gonna get beat on with the Purdues and Nebraskas."

The rich part about this all is that Vanderbilt is the Purdue of the SEC. They are the team that the SEC teams go in to beat on. So sure, it feels like he's getting beat on week in and week out in the SEC. He would feel the same in the Big Ten if Vanderbilt were part of the conference or if he were the quarterback for Purdue.

It's rich for a quarterback who hasn't seen a Big Ten team in two years to talk mess when he was smoked the last time he did. The Badgers gave him a good taste of what it's like to play a Big Ten team.
