The bracketologists are hard at work lately, crunching numbers, comparing resumes, and figuring out how the committee will determine the seeding of all the different teams. It's not a simple formula, though there are a lot of formulas, and this is why it takes a full committee to work it all out. It's also why it's fun to look at all the different projections from the paid and amateur bracketologists. Wisconsin is now finding itself on the same line in almost every projection, and it's a good one.
Wisconsin continues to find themselves on the 4-seed line in almost all the major bracketologists projections.

Wisconsin is projected as a 4-seed in March Madness according to latest projections
Here's a breakdown of all the brackets with a link to where each bracketologist has either the bracket or the seed list. Each bracketologist has Wisconsin as a 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament (as of now).
Joe Lunardi (ESPN) - 4 seed
Bauterology - 4 seed
T3 Bracketology - 4 seed (potential 3)
JBR Bracketology - 4 seed
NKY Bracket Guy - 4 seed
There are a few brackets that are starting to move Wisconsin toward the three-line but have yet to commit to that (T3 Bracketology and JBR Bracketology). The Badgers would need at least one more big win and no bad losses to move up any higher. They do have two quad-1A games left when they play at Purdue and at Michigan State. Either of those would be a statement win and could potentially raise their projections.
The Wisconsin resume continues to be elite. They have yet to lose any quad-2 or worse games this season, and they (as of now) have six quad-1 wins: Arizona, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Ohio State, USC, and Northwestern.
As of now, Wisconsin has four quad-1 games left: at Iowa, at Purdue, home versus Illinois, and at Michigan State. They have four quad-2 games: Indiana, Oregon, at Minnesota, and Penn State. Finally, they have a single quad-3 game when they host Washington. Then, of course, the Big Ten tournament. This is still a lot to play but things are currently stacking up nicely for a great seed in March Madness.
