In what could end up being a landmark case, Wisconsin is taking a stand against Miami and their alleged tampering violations surrounding cornerback Xavier Lucas. Wisconsin is looking to make a statement with this groundbreaking lawsuit, but Miami will surely defend their actions in what has been a tumultuous transfer cycle across the country. Whatever the outcome, it's sure to ruffle some feathers one way or another, and fans all over have been split on what should happen.
Win/Win Situation?
Pending a potential settlement that never gets made public, we should find out a lot of information from this case. Someone has to be in the wrong here, and the court's decision will have massive impacts across college football.
You know what? Great.

Either we get a judge essentially saying that "tampering" isn't a thing and we can safely ignore coaches crying about it, or we finally get enforcement, rather than passive aggressive tweets or complaints to recruiting reporters. A win for everybody IMO https://t.co/ROFsrgAogB

We may finally find out what “tampering, and eventually poaching” looks like… or not 😂😂
Can’t wait for this to go to court (hint: it will NOT go to court, it will settle)@TheCFBMafia @RossDellenger
College Football Fans everywhere should be rooting for Wisconsin on this one. Someone had to draw the line in the sand and the Badgers are doing it. Holding Universities accountable for tampering with Student Athletes already signed to universities is essential in keeping the…

Badger fans revel in opportunity for justice
It's safe to say Wisconsin fans are excited for some potentially sweet justice. Ever since the initial story of Lucas getting poached, it hasn't sat well with the fanbase. Maybe it's time things get set straight.

I've got their back on this one.
Miami faithful not going down without a fight
While it seems apparent Miami did some things that Wisconsin did not like, the legality of it is still very unclear. Hurricane fans are largely adamant that Wisconsin is grasping at straws
What boggles my mind is how Wisconsin can claim Miami tampered against a “binding” revenue sharing agreement, when rev share was 5 months away from being approved at that time. I’m sure @DarrenHeitner will help us understand what’s happening here. https://t.co/4wjESPVtt1
