The G-League hasn't officially started, but the Salt Lake City Stars did take on the Stockton Kings in a preseason exhibition. Those Stars have three former Badgers on the roster in Steven Crowl, Max Klesmit, and John Tonje. The box score isn't public, and most of the game is kept behind closed doors, but there's strong evidence of Steven Crowl having a good performance.
First, he was the featured image in the final score graphic as he's throwing down a wide-open dunk. The final score was 124-118, and Crowl had at least two of those points.

Steven Crowl and 3 other Badgers are on the G-League Salt Lake City Stars

The other strong evidence is a clip posted on the social media account, showing Crowl making two big blocks back-to-back. His defensive presence was one of the few highlights posted by the Salt Lake City Stars account. Here's that video:

One of the other highlights posted was John Tonje draining a corner three. This only adds fuel to the fire for Badger fans to be paying attention to this G-League team. The other fact that is known about this relatively secret contest is that John Tonje was a listed starter. Crowl or Klesmit were not in the starting rotation.
The Salt Lake City Stars do feel like the Badgers South, or maybe it's the Badgers West? Badgers Southwest? It's more west than south, so let's stick with Badgers West. With Tonje being a star for the team and the chance for a call-up on his two-way contract with the Utah Jazz, Crowl being a featured depth front-court option behind Mo Bamba, and Max Klesmit fighting for a roster spot on the team.
The first official season game for the Stars will be on November 11 against the Santa Cruz Warriors.
