A throwback name from a few years ago just resurfaced on the internet: Jordan Davis. The twin brother of Johnny Davis, who both played for Wisconsin for a few years before one headed to the NBA (Johnny), and the other (Jordan) transferred to Illinois State for his final season of eligibility. Now, he has signed his first professional contract with the Serbian overseas team KK Mega Basket.

For those wondering what happened to Jordan Davis, here's the answer: He's been working towards a professional contract after playing at Illinois State.

KK Mega Basket announced yesterday the signing of Jordan with a slight error that will make most fans chuckle. The Serbian text says that he is coming from the University of Illinois, when he's actually out of Illinois State, but really spent most of his college career at Wisconsin.

He was a solid role player for the Badgers in his final season of 2022 to 2023 and was in the starting lineup 18 times. He was one of the top-minute producers for Wisconsin, playing an average of 20.5 minutes per game. He also averaged 5.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Jordan had the ability to go off, though, in games and had five games where he eclipsed double-figures. Though scoring wasn't his main role for Wisconsin.

It also wasn't his main role for Illinois State, where he only averaged 3.5 points and started only five games. That fit for the Redbirds may have derailed his next step as he disappeared after graduating from Illinois State. He went from being a starter and a good defensive presence to a bench player for Illinois State. He's now finally getting a chance to prove he can play professionally.

KK Mega Basket plays in Belgrade, Serbia.
