The optimism is high about the new Wisconsin season, especially as more and more footage, quotes, and articles get written about this new Badgers team. Each day seems to bring a new playmaker or star of the camp. Yesterday, it was redshirt freshman wide receiver Kyan Berry-Johnson who pulled off an insane catch that had fans thrilled on social media.
Berry-Johnson pulled off his best Odell Beckham Jr. with a one-handed over-the-head, backward-falling catch that had the Wisconsin social media team posting three emojis of "mind-blown." It was an insane catch that was even better than Eugene Hilton Jr.'s from last week. Watch it below:

Kyan Berry-Johnson had the best play of Wisconsin fall camp with insane catch
Berry-Johnson only played in three games all of last season as he sat out using his redshirt. He came to Wisconsin as a 4-star from Rivals and a 3-star from 24/7 Sports out of Bolingbrook, Illinois. He has yet to crack the depth chart, but this year he's looking to make a name for himself beyond viral plays and impressive catches at camp, and to really crack the roster and be an impact player.
The fans are impressed with this catch, and many quickly pointed out how much it looked like one of the most famous catches of all time:

The post had 46 retweets and 380 likes on the first day it was posted. Fans were reacting in the comments with awe and amazement, and for good reason, it was incredibly impressive. The throw was a bit overthrown by redshirt freshman QB Milos Spasojevic, but Berry-Johnson used his athleticism to go up and get it over a draped defender.
It will be interesting to see the rotation of receivers this year. Players like Vinny Anthony III are locked in as a starter. Several young candidates are vying for the starting position, like Trech Kekahuna, Eugene Hilton, Kyan Berry-Johnson, and more. It will be a battle that ultimately is good for Wisconsin and Jeff Grimes' offense.
