The NFL Draft is ongoing, but Wisconsin fans are already looking ahead to the NBA Draft, which takes place at the end of June. That's when they will get to see the best transfer to ever wear the Badgers colors find his way onto an NBA roster. However, it's not precisely known where he will fall within the draft. He seems to be a first-round talent but with only one year of proven performance.

John Tonje is listed at 48 in ESPN's Top 100 NBA Draft Big Board

ESPN's new Top 100 NBA Draft Big Board has him listed at 48 in their newest update. Which, if you are keeping track at home, is well within the second round of the NBA Draft. The second round goes all the way to pick 60. Tonje is safely in the NBA Draft with the potential of being a late steal in the first round if there's someone in need of a bucket-getter like Tonje.

Round 1 goes from pick 1-30, and Round 2 goes from pick 31-60. Therefore, all indications are John Tonje is a clear second-round pick. If you are curious about John Blackwell? It's covered in this article here, but he wasn't listed, which is good news for Wisconsin fans wanting one more year from Blackwell.

John Tonje was absolutely a steal and a great surprise for the Wisconsin Badgers this season; he racked up 19.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. Shooting at a 46.5% clip from the field and 38.8% from three. He's a certified bucket-getter both from the outside and inside the arc. The NBA team that picks him up will not be disappointed, and he should have a very successful NBA career.

The NBA Draft will take place in Brooklyn, New York, on June 25th and 26th and will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC (first-round only).
