Wisconsin Badger fans have high hopes for this NCAA Tournament, but are also guarded because of how volatile Wisconsin has been. Jon Rothstein is here to put a little energy into your hopes. He names Wisconsin as the top darkhorse team in a list of five he sees could make a Final Four push but aren't "at top of mind."
Rothstein said he absolutely loves the Badgers and what they bring to the table for this March Madness, "I have waxed poetically on Wisconsin. I love the Badgers, especially if they can get through that round of 32 game against Arkansas."

Wisconsin has the pundits baffled on what they will do in this tournament

The Badgers may have the biggest spread of any discussion in the tournament. You have pundits like Rothstein who think Wisconsin could make a Final Four push. Emeka Okafor also loves what the Badgers are bringing to the tournament. There are others like Clark Kellogg who aren't even sure they can beat High Point in their first round game.
That may be the nature of a No. 5 seed, but it's also a bit of a testament to how good the Badgers can be when they are locked and loaded, but how bad they can be if they lack energy. They were flat against Oregon and lost to a terrible team. The Badgers were high energy and octane against Michigan and beat them in Ann Arbor. Those are the extremes.
Rothstein also circled the Arkansas like many pundits. That Wisconsin vs. Arkansas game is becoming highly anticipated and could be a dramatic March Madness game. The problem, both have to stay focused on their current opponent. Hawaii and High Point are both not going to roll over to let the Wisconsin vs. Arkansas matchup happen. Each team is looking for the upset.
The drama starts tomorrow when Wisconsin takes on High Point at 12:50pm CT on TBS.
