Nothing seems to be going right for Wisconsin football, not on or off the field. As coaches are being fired across FBS, it seems Chris McIntosh has given Luke Fickell job security. Even if nothing is working for Fickell, not even recruiting. Sharks know there is blood in the water for Wisconsin and have been working to recruit away the top players in the 2026 recruiting class.

3-star LB Aden Reeder is now the second commitment to decommit from the class in the last couple of weeks, with rumors of more coming soon. It's a class that is on the verge of falling apart in a time when Fickell and McIntosh have said they will invest more into the roster.

Reeder has recently been picking up more offers with his high school season coming to a close. He was impressive this year for St. Xavier, and between his play and Wisconsin's poor play, other programs knew they could try to convince him to move on from the Badgers.

Reeder posted a heartfelt note about his decommitment on social media, and it had nothing but nice things to say about Luke Fickell and his staff, but started with, "I have made the difficult decision to decommit from the University of Wisconsin."

It's a tough blow for a program that needs a win, even if it's in recruiting. The team can't find it on the field, and now they are taking losses in the recruiting department as well. There may be other recruits to follow.

Much attention is on two 4-star players in Amari Latimer, who has been crystal-balled to Ohio State, even though he is committed to Wisconsin. There's also Jayden Petit, who has recently taken a big visit to another program and may have a foot out the door. It's bleak for Wisconsin on the field and in the recruiting department.
