Hours after posting about how sharks are circling the blood in the water with the Wisconsin football program. Other universities and coaches are trying to lure away Wisconsin commits as the Badgers' season goes downhill and fast. The second-highest committed player for Luke Fickell in 2026 has decided to visit Oklahoma. Jayden Petit is now officially on a flip watch, joining fellow 4-star Wisconsin commit Amari Latimer (as well as others).

Petit picked up an offer from the Washington Huskies earlier this week, and now he's off to visit the Sooners on Saturday (tomorrow). He holds an offer from Oklahoma and has already visited Norman back in June. He ended up committing to Wisconsin instead, but now, with one program headed up and the other headed down, it appears he is reconsidering.

This makes it so the top three recruits for Wisconsin are all on flip watch. 3-star Djidbou Bah has basically always been on flip watch from the day he committed. He never stopped visiting or courting other programs. But recently, 4-star Amari Latimer has been visiting programs and wearing Ohio State Buckeyes gear.

Latimer just picked up a crystal ball to flip to the Buckeyes. Petit may not be far behind. Losing one or both would be a huge blow to the Wisconsin recruiting class, making it even harder to recover from a terrible season.

It's shocking to think that Wisconsin athletic director Chris McIntosh wants to keep the status quo. Luke Fickell can't win on the field, can't win in the portal battles, and if these recruits flip, you can officially say that he can't win in recruiting. This is bad news for the program and another step in the wrong direction.
