The Wisconsin Badgers have a far better recruiting class in 2027 than at any point under Luke Fickell. Former Wisconsin athletic director Chris McIntosh vowed to increase funding and help Fickell with recruiting, which seems to be fully taking effect. It was on display at Under Armor's Next Camp in Chicago. There were seven future Badgers at the camp showcase.
Billy Tucker, Director of UCReport & UA All-America Game, called it a "Wisconsin takeover." Fickell has to be smiling from ear to ear. As things are starting to look up for him and Wisconsin.
It was a Wisconsin takeover today at UA Next Camp with 7️⃣ future Badgers competing. We love to see it 💯

The Badgers were showing out in the drills and showcases, too. A few different highlight clips popped up on the internet. 4-star Wisconsin QB commit Jack Sorgi is seen dropping in a dime during a 1-on-1 drill.

There's also a clip of 4-star offensive lineman Cole Reiter that will impress Wisconsin fans. Allen Trieu posted his pass blocking drill in which he absolutely doesn't allow any advantage or position to the opposing edge player.

There's more out there from future Badgers, but those two are the cleanest that were posted. The other Wisconsin commits at the camp besides Jack Sorgi and Cole Reiter were Ethan McIntosh, Isaac Miller, Reece Mallinger, Hunter Mallinger, and David Hill.
The stats have yet to be posted, but you can keep track of those at this link. It will be interesting to see if Wisconsin commits pop up on any of the top lists, especially in the testing. For now, it's a good sign, and a moment Wisconsin fans can be proud of the Wisconsin recruiting for the first time in years.
The class is now decorated with good players top to bottom, and it's not even done yet. Official visit season is upon college football, and Luke Fickell is hoping to take the No. 17 class up into the top 10 with more commitments.
