Former Badger Tyler Wahl Lands With Minnesota Timberwolves
The former Badger Tyler Wahl is set to join the Minnesota Timberwolves for Summer League play according to Darren Wolfson.
After going undrafted, the Minnesota native now joins his hometown team. The Wolves were one of three teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks and Utah Jazz, that Wahl worked out for in the pre-draft process.
Wahl had made it clear his intentions were to land with an NBA team, but he also didn't discount the option of playing overseas. He will now get a chance to showcase his abilities this summer with a team that also drafted Kentucky's Rob Dillingham and Illinois' Terrence Shannon Jr.
