After narrowing his decision down to four schools including Wisconsin, Omaha-Nebraska transfer Frankie Fidler announced he woud be making his final decision on Monday. The announcement, set to take place on 1620 The Zone, a local radio station, but it turns out Fidler hasn't quite made up his mind yet.
Fidler finished his last school visit with Michigan State this past weekend and was due to make his decision 8AM this morning. According to radio host Gary Sharp though, Fidler has not yet made up his mind. “He mentioned to coaches and people who are involved in the process that he would like to have it announced today. We are just giving him a forum because of my relationship with him. I have no idea what he’s going to do.”
After losing AJ Storr to the transfer portal, the Badgers are looking for a talented wing to replace his production. Fidler would be a nice addition and provide some offensive firepower along with solid defense. The general feeling is that the forward is looking to stay close to home, which would likely mean a Nebraska or Creighton commitment, but until an announcement is made, Badger fans can still hope.
Fidler has not made a new announcement date so his decision could come at any time.
