On Wednesday, EA released its top 100 players for the upcoming video game. Two Badgers, Ricardo Hallman Jr. and Hunter Wohler, cracked the list ahead of the full release of the game on July 19th.

The highest rated Badger this year, Hallman Jr., comes in at a 91 overall and the 62nd highest rated player in the game. The Big Ten leader in interceptions in 2023 with seven, Hallman Jr. will look to establish himself once again as one of the premier cornerbacks in the conference this season. His attribute ratings are as follows:

Speed: 90
Acceleration: 95
Strength: 61
Awareness: 89
Jumping: 92

Hunter Wohler comes in at a 90 overall rating and the 84th best rated player in the game. Wohler was the Badgers' leading tackler a year ago and leader in the locker room. He earned First Team All-Big Ten and will look to make the most of his senior season before the NFL Draft. His attribute ratings are as follows:

Speed: 90
Acceleration: 92
Strength: 76
Awareness: 87
Jumping: 91

Compared to our early projected rankings form two months ago, both Wohler and Hallman Jr. rank better in the game's actual ratings. It will be interesting to see how other key players like Tyler Van Dyke, Will Pauling and more get rated.

Following the release of the game, Badger of Honor will run a Badgers dynasty with weekly posts of game simulations from the actual Badgers' schedule. Stay tuned for that series and more throughout the summer as we await football season!
