Wisconsin has played five games this season, so now is a good time to rank the transfers that are performing the best so far. Remember, Luke Fickell went out in the offseason and brought in a huge transfer class. He went crazy and brought in over 20 transfers, and many of them were immediate starters for Wisconsin.

Here is a power ranking of the top seven incoming transfers to the Wisconsin Badgers:

1. Colton Joseph

Even though Joseph has had a couple of rough games, it's hard to deny that he isn't the most impactful transfer to this team. The Wisconsin offense was so terrible last season that having a capable quarterback, even if he gets a little wild with his throws, has changed things dramatically.

2. Javan Robinson

Robinson has been incredible so far this season and has been a revelation in the secondary. Wisconsin's secondary ranks among the best in all of FBS so far this season, which is why you will find three members from that secondary on this list. Robinson has been awesome. At Penn State, he was targeted 10 times, allowing only 2 completions for 9 yards, while breaking up 3 passes.

3. Jacob Harris

How can you not like what Harris is doing? He may even be No. 2 on this list. There was considerable debate about swapping him and Robinson. Harris already has 13 receptions for 238 yards and three touchdowns this season.

4. Bryce West

West was the penciled-in slot corner starter at Ohio State before coming over to Wisconsin. He's been lockdown for the Badgers. He's part of three transfers in the secondary that made this list. He's helped on run defense and in keeping the opponent's passing attack under control.

5. Junior Poyser

The defensive line doesn't put up a ton of numbers, but it's hard to deny that the big boys up front aren't doing their duty. He's been consistent in the middle of that defensive line, clogging up lanes and helping Posa and Catalano have tremendous success again.

6. Marvin Burks Jr.

Burks has been quiet on the stats side of things, but he's done a great job of helping the secondary. The lack of explosive plays for the opponents has been largely due to Burks being in the right spot and playing safety the way Mike Tressel wants it played.

7. Hammond Russell IV

Russell had a great game against Penn State, and while he's not as consistent as Poyser has been, he's had really big moments. Against the Nittany Lions, he had four tackles, 1.5 sacks, and even a pass deflection. He was a major reason why the Badgers were able to pull off the upset, as he helped push Rocco Becht into uncomfortable spots and kept the Penn State run game slow.

Could break in the list as they get or stay healthy:

-Malachi Coleman
-Abu Sama III
-Jaylon Domingeaux

There's more that could have been included because Eric Fletcher Jr. has been good, same with Austin Kawecki; we all have liked what Coleman has done when healthy. Same with Sama, and there's eager anticipation for Domingeaux coming up next weekend.
