The Wisconsin Badgers had a game to remember against Penn State on Saturday. The Badgers marched back from 17 points down and upset a No. 13 Penn State on the road. It came on the backs of some incredible performances by individual Badgers. According to PFF, three stood out and stole the show, allowing Wisconsin to give Luke Fickell the signature win that he needed and surge belief back into the program.
There's a lot of credit that could be passed around; Luke Fickell shouted out Darrion Dupree, Jacob Harris, Hammond Russell IV, Sean West, and Javan Robinson on social media. However, PFF thinks these three were the ones who scored the best:
1. Javan Robinson - 98.4
Yes, that says 98.4. That's literally nearly a perfect score on PFF. Robinson was incredible throughout this game. He had 10 targets but only allowed two catches for 12 total yards and also had multiple pass breakups. He held Penn State's Rocco Becht to a 39.6 passer rating against him. This is elite for a DB, and he was the highest-rated defensive back in college football, according to PFF, this last week.
With a score like 98.4, it wouldn't be surprising if it's one of the highest-rated PFF defensive back scores of the season. The next highest-rated DB was Brent Gordon Jr. from Louisiana, who scored a 94.7.
2. Jacob Harris - 90.7
The tight end will be famous for his 70-yard touchdown to seal the deal for the Badgers but he was marvelous throughout the game. The only knock on Harris was that he had two false starts, and he was pretty frustrated with himself about those, but he rallied at the best time. He stiff-armed a defensive back, lost a shoe, and barrelled his way for a game-winning Badger touchdown.
The false starts are forgotten. According to PFF, he was the 7th highest-rated TE in college football this weekend at 90.7; the highest-rated TE came from Northwestern, Luke Dehnicke, who scored a 95.2. Yet, I bet Dehnicke didn't have a touchdown that sent a top-15-ranked team home sad in their own stadium.
3. Kevin Heywood - 88.0
The best right tackle of the weekend, according to PFF, was none other than Wisconsin's Kevin Heywood. Honestly, fans have been wondering why he's playing right tackle, because he might be the best lineman on the team. He's been nails all season, and this game against Penn State was incredible.
He is everything you want in a Wisconsin offensive lineman, literally the most physical and dominant person on the field. He finishes every block, and one of the best examples of that is in the social media post on X below:

At the end of the day, all three of these players were instrumental in helping the Badgers walk away with a huge victory. Two of them were transfers into the program. Harris transferred in from Bowling Green, and Javan Robinson came from Arizona State. Kevin Heywood is a player who's stuck with Fickell and is now seeing the reward.
