The Badgers will head into 2026 without their top four cornerbacks from this past season, as a former four-star recruit now plans to enter the portal.
According to Matt Zenitz, cornerback Omillio Agard will enter the transfer portal after playing in 10 games for Wisconsin in 2025. D'Yoni Hill, Ricardo Hallman, Geimere Latimer and now Agard have all either exhausted their eligibility or have entered the portal, leaving the Badgers with a completely brand new unit this year.
The Badgers have now lost every cornerback starter from 2025 with the departure of Agard

Agard had seen some decent action for Wisconsin this year on the boundary after the loss of Nyzier Fourqurean due to eligibility issues. The redshirt freshman made three starts and notched 17 tackles and one interception on the year while registering two pass defenses. He figured to have a decent shot at an increased role this upcoming season, but will now head elsewhere with the portal entering its last week.
After seeing the cornerback room decimated, Luke Fickell and company have been active in the portal to replace all of the outgoing talent. They've landed commitments from Arizona State transfer Javan Robinson, Florida State transfer Cai Bates, Oklahoma State transfer Eric Fletcher, and Ohio State transfer Bryce West so far. Now with the departure of Agard, both boundary corners as well as the slot corner will be manned by fresh faces.
The loss of Agard this late is particularly odd. Of course, money could have been a factor, or potentially, he was told his role would not have been guaranteed. Or, quite possibly, another program came in late and promised a better outcome on either of those fronts. But regardless, it's still a disappointing loss from the 2024 recruiting class, which now has lost over 10 members of the class already.
