Wisconsin is doing something no other program in the nation is doing right now: stringing together recruiting commitments for the 2026 class. This weekend was the first weekend that allowed official visits for 2026 recruits, and Wisconsin planned to take it head-on. They brought in 15+ recruits, made incredibly strong first impressions, and have now landed four commitments.

The latest commitment is ESPN-rated 4-star TE Jack Sievers. Sievers is a Top 300 player as evaluated by ESPN and a 3-star recruit by 24/7 Sports. He comes from Archbishop Murphy just north of Seattle, WA. He was impressed by the Badgers and decided he didn't want to go on his other visits; he'd rather just commit to Wisconsin and Luke Fickell.

4-star TE Jack Sievers has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers

Jack Sievers has 13 offers and had visits set up to the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Boise State Broncos in June. According to 24/7 Sports recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, "Sievers is one of the region’s top two-way players and we really like the multi-sport background he brings to the table. A talented tight end who can really run and has a frame ready for the college game. Also a talented edge rusher and good enough to play on either side of the ball in college but is being recruited predominately as a tight end. Shows strong hands, can win 50-50 balls and does a nice job catching the ball through contact."

This is a big addition for Luke Fickell and his staff, and it's the first TE to commit in the 2026 class. Sievers joins DL Arthur Scott, DL Djidjou Bah, and LB Ben Wenzel as the recruits who visited over the weekend and have now committed to the Badgers. The total class commitments, counting Sievers, are up to 10.
