Today is Wisconsin football's opening game of the 2025 season. The day was meant to be all Badgers all day. Basking in the reality that we get to see Billy Edwards Jr. throw the ball to Vinny Anthony II and Dilin Jones busting through the line of scrimmage. The biggest news of the day was supposed to be all red and all white. Badgers. Badgers. Badgers. And then some former Penn State star stole the headlines right out from under Wisconsin.
Micah Parsons was traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers in a blockbuster trade. The state of Wisconsin, which has tons of football fans, is lost in the sauce of Micah freaking Parsons. It's incredible.

Micah Parsons trade may actually be the good vibes the Badgers need

Ok, it's actually huge news for Green Bay Packer fans (many of whom are also Wisconsin Badgers fans). It's incredible and maybe the vibes we need. It changes the dynamics of the Packers so much that there are stars in the eyes of a team being returned to its former glory. Could the state of Wisconsin football be all the way back?
I mean, is it a sign? Like, are we back, back? We can forget that Micah Parsons is a former star at Penn State. He is a former Dallas Cowboys backfield wrecker who brings the vibes with him to Green Bay.
While we are flying high on the excitement of the day, it's time to tune into Wisconsin Badger football. The game is at Camp Randall (with some tickets still available) or can be viewed on the Big Ten Network at 8 pm CST. Tune in and let's keep this incredible day going.
