It is so impressive that it takes a bit to do the math in your head and how impressive of a run this team is on, especially when it comes to scoring the basketball.

You may need to read that stat twice. In 400 games before this season, they only scored 90+ three times. 400 games! Depending on post-season runs in these seasons, that's at least 10 seasons, but it could be more. This is insane because they've already four of those this season and two games over 100. This team can get to the bucket and drop threes like no other Wisconsin team in history.
The defense is starting to catch up to the offense, as they've only allowed one team to score more than 75 on them in the last five contests. That was Purdue, who is considered one of the strongest teams in the conference.
Speaking of the conference, Wisconsin's recent success has put them in the hunt for the Big Ten regular season title. They are currently chasing Michigan and Michigan State who are 1.5 and .5 ahead of the Badgers. Those two play tonight, so one of them will be even closer to Wisconsin after this evening's game.
They also are currently considered a 2-seed in the tournament and have surprised many of the pundits this season. There is much to love about this Badgers team, and while the fans can begin to look ahead, the Badgers will set their sights on Oregon tomorrow and take the season one game at a time.
