Joe Huber went undrafted out of the NFL draft, and yet he continues to prove to be one of the best offensive line rookies in the preseason. He's now had back-to-back weeks where he was ranked as the best. Last week, he was rated as the top undrafted rookie at 94.7 by PFF.

This week, he was the best rookie lineman in pass protection, recording an impressive 49 pass snaps with zero pressure allowed. That's impressive whether you are a rookie or not. The Vikings are feeling the pressure to not only find a place for him on the roster but maybe even as a rotational starter. That's the kind of pressure a team likes, undrafted to one of the best.

Through two games in the preseason, Joe Huber has played an impressive 122 snaps. This is a Vikings team high, which means not only do they want to see what he can do, but they also trust him in a way that no other rookie has on the team quite yet. The fans are loving his play.

Last week, he was the star among all the NFL's undrafted free agents according to PFF. If you are curious, what was his score for the second week? It dropped a bit to 77. However, it was drastically affected by his two false starts. Without those, it would have been much higher.

There's a lot to like as a Wisconsin fan watching Huber make waves in the NFL already. The Vikings aren't going to be able to put him on the practice squad because another team will steal him. That's a good thing. He also may end up filling a depth role for the Vikings that could launch him into a solid NFL career like so many other great Wisconsin linemen.
