In a surprise to absolutely zero Wisconsin fans, Joe Huber was extremely impressive in his NFL preseason debut. According to PFF, he was the highest-rated undrafted rookie in Week 1 of the preseason with a score of 94.7, which is really high for any rookie, but especially an undrafted one.

Huber went undrafted in the NFL Draft but eventually signed with the Minnesota Vikings and played a lot of guard in their preseason game, protecting Sam Howell and creating holes for the running backs.

Vikings writer Sean Borman was absolutely floored by what he was seeing from Huber when he went to the film. He posted multiple examples on X of clips where Huber was simply incredible, "Starting to understand the PFF grade." One commenter even said, "Where did this guy come from?" That's an easy one, WISCONSIN!

The two clips above will showcase exactly why he was the highest-rated undrafted NFL rookie in week 1. He may end up becoming a starter if he keeps this up. This is impressive work, and it's another reminder that NFL teams should really be drafting more Wisconsin Badgers.

Hunter Wohler is impressing and finding a huge role already. Jack Nelson is even getting some first-team reps and now Joe Huber. Listen, all three of these guys were 7th round picks or later, and all three of these guys are performing like 3rd round picks or higher. It's time for NFL GMs to start noticing that Badgers are excellent NFL players.

For it's not just the athleticism, it's the grit, the toughness, the ability to outwork the entire room. All three of these players have that exact mentality.

The Vikings found a gem in the undrafted market with Joe Huber and it's only the beginning.
