Wisconsin softball doesn't have the worst odds to win the National Championship among all the teams in the NCAA Tournament, but they are a long way from having good odds. The Badgers are a clear long shot to win the National Championship, with Vegas giving them +20000 odds to take home the title, according to DraftKings.

Those odds are far from what the Oklahoma Sooners are getting at +200 or even where the Big Ten's top team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, are at with +800. However, the Badgers also aren't sitting at the bottom with teams like Boston University and Idaho State at +50000.

Even in their own region, the Texas Longhorns are at +500 (the third-best odds in the whole bracket), Baylor has the same odds as Wisconsin, and Wager is at +50000. The odds are clearly long, but the Badgers aren't scared of any team.

The Badgers aren't going to be daunted by any team they face in the tournament, and if they get a crack at the Texas Longhorns, Wisconsin will give their best shot. Beating both Purdue and Oregon in the Big Ten Tournament gave the team a ton of confidence heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Even losing to the UCLA Bruins was a helpful boost because it allowed the Badgers to see what it will take to slay multiple giants (after already taking down Oregon). Now, Texas isn't daunting, but first, they need to beat Baylor, which is the first game. Texas will be facing off against Wagner, and the winner of each game will face the other, while the losers will face off. The losing team from the losers will be eliminated, and the winner will get another shot.

Wisconsin is clearly not the favorite to come out of their region, but the contest won't be too much for them. The Badgers will be ready.
