Wisconsin is fresh off a big win at home over Iowa, and they are at their highest net ranking all season, 32. The sky is the limit, and they've proven they can beat anyone. They can also lose games when they decide to show up without effort. So, when Vegas released Final Four odds, scrolling down to see Wisconsin's was truly going to be a fascinating moment. How would Vegas see Wisconsin? Would the three top-10 wins matter in the betting line?

Vegas didn't take into account at all the fact that Wisconsin can beat any team in the nation when they are on. In fact, with +2700 odds to make the Final Four, they fell into the same category as the teams around them in the NET. The other teams with the same odds are North Carolina and Kentucky. However, they are in the top-25 of all best odds.

It's not a great line but not a terrible line. Michigan is currently the highest odds team to make a Final Four at -150. Illinois and Purdue are the next two Big Ten teams, followed by Michigan State, and then Nebraska, making Wisconsin the fifth Big Ten team (which is also their standing in the conference) to make an appearance on the list.

To put this in layman's terms for any non-bettors, this is about a 3.7% chance to cash out. In other words, Vegas currently sees Wisconsin as a long shot but not an impossibility. It's a line that would pay out $2700 if you put down $100 if the Badgers were able to actually make the Final Four.

At this point, it's nice to see them so high and not in the Vegas odds for "making the tournament" as Vegas doesn't see the Badgers as a bubble team. The line is intriguing, for sure.
