Wisconsin is starting the transfer portal off at the top of their wish list with a top-tier quarterback. Luke Fickell and his staff are bringing in one of the most sought-after names in the portal, Colton Joseph, in hopes that they can finally land a quarterback who can stay healthy and help them win. Joseph knows a lot about winning, as he did a lot of it at Old Dominion.

According to Greg Biggins of On3.com, Joseph will be starting his visit to Wisconsin later today. While he's considering other schools, Fickell is hoping he decides to just stay in Madison and become the future quarterback for the Badgers.

Joseph is listed as the 16th-best QB in the portal by 24/7 Sports, but he's one of only a few who fit the profile Jeff Grimes wants to run his offense. He's ranked lower than his talent showcases because of his time at Old Dominion. Since it wasn't a Power 4 school, however, all he did was put up huge numbers for the Monarchs.

Joseph had 2,624 passing yards with 21 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also had 1,007 yards rushing and is a threat to take off at any point. This is part of the wrinkle that Grimes is looking for. A quarterback who has the ability to stretch the field with his arms or his legs.

He was long rumored as a potential fit for the Badgers, and many Wisconsin fans have already taken to the idea. He has proven himself and has played two full seasons at Old Dominion without any health problems or issues. Which is as unpredictable as it comes, but Fickell really needs a quarterback who can play a whole season.
