The news out of Wisconsin's fall camp practice was alarming when starting center Jake Renfro went down with a noticeable injury. It looked serious and someone that could be long-term; however, the update from Wisconsin is that he didn't suffer any "significant structural damage" with the potential that he will be back by the opening game against Miami (OH).
This is great news for the Badgers as Jake Renfro is an anchor on their offensive line and one of the best NFL draft prospects on the roster. If the Badgers are going to have success this year, it's going to be coming from the offensive line, and he's an integral part of that line.
Injury update: C Jake Renfro is to week to week with a lower body injury suffered during yesterday’s practice, according to Wisconsin. No significant structural damage and have not ruled him out for the opener Aug. 28.

Center Jake Renfro is week-to-week with a knee injury and should return by season opener
When he went down, he couldn't or maybe wouldn't put weight on his leg. He eventually was carted off the field, and the fear was high that it was going to be a long-term injury. The Badgers dodged that with the latest update.
Kerry Kodanko took first team reps during practice today, and he's one of the players that Luke Fickell called incredibly important to this Wisconsin team. That is partly due to his versatility and the ability to play all along the line. The hope is that he can be the starting right guard, but if needed, he is the backup center. For now, he will get the first team reps.
This is the most important injury that's been talked about so far for the Badgers during fall camp. While linebacker Christian Alliegro was out for part of the team's practice yesterday, he participated in individual drills and is listed as day-to-day. He was back out today, and it's more something to monitor than a significant concern.
The Badgers have done a good job of staying healthy, but injuries are part of football and hard to prevent completely. So far, the news continues to stay positive on the injury front.
