Just when you thought that maybe all of the Xavier Lucas drama was done and over with, the Wisconsin football team has decided that it's not going to let Miami get away with things. Nope, instead, legal action is being taken.

This is the kind of lawsuit that could change the college football recruiting landscape as a whole. As part of the lawsuit too, the Badgers aren't holding back with some of the allegations being placed against Miami and how the ACC powerhouse handled things.

According to reporter Ross Dellenger, part of the new lawsuit has accused a Miami coach and a 'prominent alumnus' of meeting with Lucas at his family's house in Florida while he was away from the Madison campus. During that time, per Dellenger, Miami put a monster deal on the table to try and get Lucas to not only enter the portal, but also sign with the Canes. Goodness:

Wisconsin suing Miami for tampering with Xavier Lucas has turned the NCAA world upside down

As you might have been able to guess, Wisconsin fans are pretty darn ticked off. Per multiple reports, Wisconsin had a deal in place with Lucas for him to return to the team next season. A 4-star signee, the expectation was that Lucas would have a brilliant career in the Big Ten.

However, Miami and Mario Cristobal allegedly kept on recruiting him, which opened the door for him to return to his home state to play for the Hurricanes. From the moment it was announced that Lucas was going to enter the portal and then join Miami, countless people all over the state of Wisconsin were up in arms.

Luke Fickell was clearly upset and he wasn't the only one. This has led to the breaking news on Friday that Wisconsin is suing the Miami program for tampering and poaching Lucas away from the Badgers. This story is surely only getting started, while members of the Miami faithful are firing back at Wisconsin on social media. Buckle up, as more from this case should be arriving soon.
