Darryl Flemister, a 3-star defensive back target in the 2027 class, has two visits scheduled and one commitment date. He decided to announce his college choice on July 4th, and the Badgers are the team that's trending to land his services. As Rivals recruiting expert Allen Trieu inputs a prediction for Wisconsin to be the school Flemister chooses.

Flemister has a scheduled visit to Wisconsin on June 5, and then he plans to check out Illinois on June 19. There's some hope from Luke Fickell that Flemister will decide to be a Badger even sooner, as Wisconsin is trending.

Flemister is a 5'11, 170 pound defensive back from Detroit, Michigan. He also plays receiver and safety at Martin Luther King Jr. High School. He will most likely slide into the corner back position if he comes to Madison, but his athletic ability makes him a player who could choose among a few positions depending on which school lands him.

Trieu has a pretty high confidence in his prediction at 65%. Enough to decide to put the prediction out there, but not enough to say it's a done deal. The weekend of June 5th will be what determines the commitment or not, especially as the Badgers get the first shot at convincing him before he heads to Illinois.

Flemister is coming on an important weekend; the Badgers have 12 known official visits scheduled that weekend. None of the recruits (for that weekend) is currently committed, and thus, it's a weekend the recruiting staff is hoping to really make a splash.

Flemister is a priority target for Robert Steeples, who was brought in for his recruiting ability but also his winsome coaching style. He has a way about him with the players, and his NFL pedigree goes a long way. Steeples is still looking to land his first Wisconsin recruit, and it may end up being Flemister.
