Wisconsin was able to land one of Ohio State's up-and-coming defensive backs, Bryce West, out of the portal. Quickly after that commitment, one of his close friends and fellow Buckeye, Aaron Scott Jr., posted on social media with a heartbreaking emoji and "be great" to West's commitment to Wisconsin. A day or two later after Scott himself, who was also in the portal, was in Madison on a visit.
West, along with Wisconsin, is working to recruit Scott to continue bolstering the defensive back room. Scott is one of the most talented defensive backs in the country and would immediately add a certified ball hawk and enforce in the secondary.
Scott is a former 4-star recruit and was one of the top defensive backs in the country in his recruiting class. He's going into his junior year and was set to be one of the Buckeye starters next season, but the transfer portal may have other plans.
Wisconsin may be a favorite to land CB Aaron Scott Jr. out of the transfer portal

Wisconsin is considered one of the favorites, one transfer portal expert said, "Wisconsin has generated the most buzz early. Scott is in Madison this weekend, and the Badgers have been the most consistent, with a built-in connection to former OSU CB Bryce West."
Wisconsin has done a ton of work to improve that depleted room, and Scott would be the cherry on top. Luke Fickell has added two safeties in Marvin Burks from Missouri and Carson Van Dinter from Iowa State. He's also added three cornerbacks: Cai Bates from Florida State, Eric Fletcher from Oklahoma State, and Bryce West from Ohio State.
The room has taken a huge step forward, and yet it's still young enough to give the Badgers years with this group, and allows healthy competition to be featured to see which of the group ends up being the primary boundary corners.
