There is no love lost between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. The game didn't even get started before there was already pushing and shoving, and the Badgers were called with an unsportsmanlike penalty. It actually was a newcomer to Wisconsin this year in transfer Tyreese Fearbry, who decided he wanted to make this rivalry personal.
In a moment that showcased a lack of discipline, Fearbry went out and stood in the way of the Iowa players coming onto the field. As they were passing him by, they bumped into him, and then some jostling commenced. The refs had to get involved, and a flag was thrown on Fearbry. It was a weird and stupid scene, setting the Badgers back from the beginning.
I don't know what Tyreese Fearbry is doing, but he waited for Iowa to come out of the locker room and stood in their path while bumping some players.

The Badgers started in a hole before the game even began, in a rivalry where every yard and every point will matter. It is cool to see players take it seriously and try to get the juices flowing to pull off the upset, but it has to be done in a smarter way.
Take the chip and play harder on the field, don't do stupid stuff before the game even starts. The hard part for Wisconsin fans is that, besides injuries, self-inflicted penalties have been a part of Fickell's regime.
It wasn't even a few plays into the game when Jake Renfro was called for a penalty for playing past the whistle and driving an Iowa player to the ground. It negated a first down, and while the Badgers were able to rally and get a first down a play later, it was another reminder of the undisciplined nature.
Luke Fickell is trying to save his job with this game and the Badgers are trying to save their season.
