Penn State, being at home, isn't getting as many points as you would expect. It seems as if Vegas is still waiting to see what sort of team the Nittany Lions will be now. Matt Campbell's team has yet to play a Power 4 opponent, and so they are a tough read. 9.5 favorites, being the No. 13-ranked team at home, isn't all that impressive.
Since Wisconsin really hasn't proven much this year, it seems to be more of a reflection on the Nittany Lions than the Badgers.

The first prediction to look at is the Vegas prediction. If you take the spread and the over/under, you can have a clear picture of approximately what Vegas thinks the final score of the Wisconsin vs. Penn State game will be. With 9.5 as the spread and 43.5 as the over/under, Vegas is predicting a score of 27-17 in favor of Penn State. Well, that's the over. It could be more like 27-15 or something, but 27-17 seems like a real football score.
If Wisconsin is to pull off the upset, it seems like it will be a close fight and may be a 24-21 type of game. I've predicted the final perfectly so far, with Notre Dame winning, and then Wisconsin winning the next two. The scores have never been that close, and maybe this is the one that I miss, or at least I hope so. This would be a great upset, and I'd love to be wrong.
