Jordan Reid has only been in Madison for one season, but he did a lot in that time and is now off to the NFL. You can say a lot about Reid, but one thing is for certain: he's on a meteoric rise in the coaching world. In just four years, he's gone from Western Michigan to the NFL, as the Falcons are set to hire him to be their quarterbacks coach.
The #Falcons are expected to hire Wisconsin wide receivers coach Jordan Reid as assistant quarterbacks coach, sources tell me and @TheRealNickOsen.

Even though his stint was brief at Wisconsin, he helped elevate the wide receiver room, even in a year when the quarterback was never certain. He also helped the Badgers go into the portal and bring in five different wide receivers: Shamar Rigby, Jaylon Domingeaux, Malachi Coleman, Zion Kearney, and Eli Adams.
He is an impressive individual, and you can see that without even meeting him. His resume reads like a rocket ship. He must interview extremely well, as he went from interning in the NFL to a graduate assistant at Ohio State in 2019. He was the quality assistant at Wake Forest for two seasons, then was the Western Michigan wide receivers coach from 2022 to 2024.
He was in Wisconsin for one brief year and is now off to the NFL as part of the Falcons coaching staff. In less than 10 years, he went from internships to an NFL assistant coach. That's impressive, and to make it more impressive, his year at Wisconsin wasn't impressive, through no fault of his own, but it would make it difficult to turn a bad offensive year into a job interview with the Falcons, but Reid did it.
The Badgers will now be looking for a new WR coach, and Luke Fickell will want to fill that position quickly, as spring ball is just around the corner.
