Wisconsin is expected to beat Western Kentucky handily. The Badgers return the strength of their offense, the offensive line, and star running back Jonathan Taylor. Several key defenders also return from last year’s defense, but there are many question marks on that side of the ball.

While the offense won’t need much time to get up to speed, the defense might need the next few weeks to figure itself out. Under the leadership of defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, there’s confidence the defense will still be a strength of the team.

Linebacker T.J. Edwards and safety D’Cota Dixon are some of the best players at their respective positions in the country and will be able to keep the defense above average in the Big Ten.
