CBS's Isaac Trotter put together an impressively thorough article about the 101 storylines of the upcoming basketball season. It was to celebrate the 101 days until the basketball season began. The 46-55 storylines in the article were the best projected offenses. Wisconsin was among that list, and Trotter explains why the Badgers will be one of the nation's top basketball offenses this season.

"The Badgers have three guards who can play on or off the ball in John Blackwell, Andrew Rohde and Nick Boyd, surrounding two sweet-shooting forwards (Austin Rapp and Nolan Winter). That's a dangerous combination offensively. Losing John Tonje stings, but Blackwell is the total package and has All-America upside as the go-to alpha."

It's pretty high honors to be included on this list of top projected offenses. It's a small sample size of only 10 teams. Those 10 teams are: UConn, Purdue, Louisville, Florida, Kentucky, Illinois, BYU, Duke, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin, which puts the Badgers as one of only three Big Ten teams, along with Purdue and Illinois.

The new look offense already is turning heads in offseason workouts

It's hard not to like what you see from the Badgers in their offensive prowess next season. They have what Greg Gard has been referring to as two alphas in Nick Boyd and John Blackwell. Either of those players can take over a game and put teams in a blender. They also have shooting from every single position, with both Austin Rapp and Nolan Winter as capable three-point shooting weapons. Add in Andrew Rohde, who is a specialist on the wing who can drop buckets, and it's elite.

The early reports from offseason workouts are electric, as media members are getting their first taste of this new-look Wisconsin basketball team. The buzz revolves around how impressive the new players are, but also around the early chemistry of the team. These new players are already starting to figure each other out and learning how each likes to move in space.

This Badgers team really is a top projected offense in the country, and they will be a blast to watch all season long.
