The NFL Draft is through three rounds, and the Wisconsin Badgers have yet to have a player selected in 2025. That isn't a surprise, as the best draft-eligible players were always expected to go in the fourth round or later. Tomorrow should be a big day for Badgers to be selected. However, there were a lot of Badgers on display at the NFL Draft, in the category of legends.
The University of Wisconsin had a record 13 former players at the microphone announcing picks throughout the first few rounds. More than any other school, 10 of them assembled for a picture flashing the "W" and representing the Badgers with class.
Legend Tim Krumrie sends out a picture of Wisconsin greats at the NFL Draft
All ten players in this picture went on to have successful NFL careers after playing at Wisconsin, which is why they were able to be at the mic announcing picks for either their current or former NFL team. Can you recognize everyone in the picture?
If you can't, here's a list of who is there:
Front Row from left to right: Montee Ball, Jonathan Taylor, James White
Back Row from left to right: Stu Voight, Melvin Gordon, Beau Allen, Tim Krumrie, Owen Daniels, Lee Evans, Travis Frederick
The only ones missing from the pick announcers are Joe Thomas, Alec Ingold, and Ryan Ramczyk.
That's a lot of glory in one picture, and while the draft has yet to really showcase the current NFL talent for Wisconsin, it's done a remarkable job of showcasing the Badger legends.
Tomorrow, in rounds 4-7, there will be a run on Badger players. There should be at least three Wisconsin players taken before the draft concludes: Hunter Wohler, Jack Nelson, and Joe Huber. There are other draft-eligible players for Wisconsin, but these three are the ones that have found themselves in the latest mock drafts.
