The Wisconsin women's basketball team is in full rebuild mode, as the roster only lists six players and three coaches. There's a lot of work for Robin Pingeton to do in this offseason, and the early reports are that she is staying very active in the portal. Wisconsin fans are still keeping tabs on some of their favorite players who transferred out after former head coach Marisa Mosely resigned from her position.
One of those former players is sophomore Tessa Grady. She has moved on and has already found a new home at Coastal Carolina.

Former Wisconsin forward Tessa Grady has transferred to Coastal Carolina
Tessa Grady was a work in progress in the development of Moseley, but at 6'2", many potential fans were looking forward to her junior and senior years as a Badger. However, with the coaching change, she found a different fit at Coastal Carolina, under a coaching staff that plans to utilize her with more playing time.
She didn't get much playing time this last season for the Badgers, appearing in only five games. Grady showed flashes in her limited minutes. In those five games, the most minutes she saw were five. However, in those spot moments, she averaged 1.8 points and 0.4 rebounds. While she was due to take a bigger role next season, it does seem like a new start was in the cards for her either way.
The new Wisconsin head coach, Robin Pingeton, has yet to add anyone from the transfer portal this offseason, but there are a lot of lures out there. The expectation is that next week or the following week, we will start to see some players coming to Wisconsin instead of just leaving.
It's hard to see players like Grady leave, but it will be exciting to see her find success at Coastal Carolina.
