The Wisconsin Badgers have dropped their first game of this road trip against the Maryland Terrapins. The Terrapins are now riding a four-game winning streak in the Big Ten and have moved up to NET 18. While it would have been huge for the Badgers to steal that one on the road, it's far from a bad loss. It was a tough team in a tough environment when a couple of the Wisconsin players didn't have their best days. Now, Wisconsin hits its next leg of the road journey, Evanston, Illinois, to take on Northwestern.
How can I watch the game?
Who: Northwestern Wildcats
When: 1 pm CT on Saturday, February 1st
Where: Welsh-Ryan Arena, Evanston, Illinois
TV: FS1
There's some good news for this game, and it's on national programming in FS1. This is the first game since Rutgers that has been on a nationally televised TV channel. It's not buried on Peacock or simply thrown on the Big Ten Network. This means more eyes will be on the Wisconsin basketball product, and hopefully, there will be a rebound from the game against Maryland.
That being said, if you can't watch it on FS1, you can stream the game on the Fox Sports app. You most likely will need to sign into your cable provider but the game will be available both on the phone app, TV app, or even online at the Fox Sports website. You can use this link here to access the game on your browser.
After this game against Northwestern, there will be one quick home game against the Indiana Hoosiers before heading back on the road for two games against Iowa and Purdue. Every game the rest of the way is at least a quad-2 opportunity (except for Washington). This means that Wisconsin, which already has one of the best resumes in the Big Ten, will have a chance to increase it.
