This weekend was a major success. Landing two players in an already loaded 2027 recruiting class was a big deal for the Badgers and Luke Fickell. Unless Fickell crashes the Badgers into the ground again this coming year, it's hard to see Wisconsin moving on too quickly with the way he's recruiting.

The Badgers are a top-20 recruiting class right now and aren't even close to being done. In fact, there should be a few more commitments coming even in the next week. The goal of this article is to predict the next commitment.

Wisconsin has a handful of recruits right on the edge of committing to the Badgers

It feels like it could be one of these three players: 3-star DB Royalton Allen, 4-star DB Mekhi Williams, or 3-star WR Tavares Powell. That's assuming it's a player from last weekend. Both Williams and Allen picked up Crystal Ball predictions from the 24/7 Sports staff. Powell seems like he was taken aback by how much he loved Madison and the Badgers.

It could also be one of the players coming this weekend (June 5). If it is a recruit this weekend, it will be 3-star WR Steele Harris, who also already has a Crystal Ball to Wisconsin. He has a high probability of walking away from the visit and becoming a Badger, similar to Tai Jones from Arizona on this last weekend.

However, the goal of the article is to pick one single player to commit to Wisconsin. The title is "Predicting Luke Fickell's next Wisconsin commit." As in, only one. If we are going to just grab one prediction, it has to be 4-star DB Mekhi Williams.

Williams is a former Florida State commit and was a high-priority flip for Luke Fickell. He then came to Madison, walked away ready to be a Badger, decommitted from the Seminoles, and seems to be close to committing. He immediately picked up 4 Crystal Balls from the 24/7 Sports staff after his decommitment. That's a lot, and usually when that many come in for one player, it's rarely a miss.

He could be committing anyday now.
