The Wisconsin women's basketball program is in a very woeful place, and it truly could be Marisa Moseley's last season. They have won only one game in their last 13 attempts and are now 11-14 overall and 2-12 in the Big Ten. This is really low-level basketball, even for a very top-heavy conference. There is one silver lining and one prominent bright spot on the team: Serah Williams. Williams continues to impress and arguably is one of the best female basketball players to ever wear Wisconsin on their jersey.
With 200 career blocked shots, @SerahWilliams25 becomes just the second Badger ever to hit this milestone!#OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/NOKDbAmunL

Serah Williams is the 2nd Wisconsin women's basketball player to reach 200 blocks
Williams has simply been amazing since she came to Wisconsin, and she continues to dominate this season. In fact, she's only getting better, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her play at the next level in the next year or two. She is averaging 19.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1 steal, and 2.3 blocks a game. A GAME! She's elite and it's a reminder how she deserves better than this woeful season has given her.
Genuinely feel for @SerahWilliams25

Best player to ever come through the program.
She deserves a tournament push.
Need to invest hard in transfers this off-season. Get some outside shooting on the roster
The blocking achievement she recorded makes her only the second Wisconsin women's basketball player to record at least 200 blocks. She had 58 blocks her freshman year, 84 last year, and already at 58 this year, which puts her exactly at 200.
If you are curious about the other Wisconsin great who recorded over 200 blocks, it was Michelle Lowman, who played in the late 70s and early 80s, and she finished her collegiate career at 253 blocks. If Williams does decide to be a Badger again next season, there's a strong chance she will pass that number and be the leading block-getter in all of Wisconsin women's basketball history.
The Badgers have four games left this season: at Penn State, vs. Northwestern, vs. UCLA, and at Iowa. They do still have a chance to make it into the Big Ten tournament but even if that were to happen, this season has been a big disappointment.
