If you thought Luke Fickell was done in the transfer portal, he's not even close, and yet he's already added 12 players. The newest one is someone Wisconsin fans can get excited about, for Fickell has found his new top cornerback, Javan Robinson. Robinson is a multi-year starter at Arizona State, and he's been their best corner in back-to-back seasons.
He will be going into his senior year and has one year to lock down the Big Ten's best receivers. Over his career at both Washington State and Arizona State, he's had 99 career tackles, three interceptions, and one forced fumble.

Robinson is now Wisconsin's third cornerback addition in the portal, and he's the best one yet, or at least the most proven one. He joins former Oklahoma State corner Eric Fletcher and former Florida State corner Cai Bates. Both look like they will come in and immediately compete for jobs, but Robinson has proven he's elite.
Robinson, as a corner, consistently grades in the high 70s in both pass coverage and run defense. He has done this for both seasons he was a starter as a Sun Devil. He's someone who can shut down a whole side of the field and knows how to use his body to disrupt passes and shadow a receiver so he doesn't get open.
This is a crucial add; in fact, all three cornerback additions are important as the room was extremely thin. Wisconsin lost Ricardo Hallman and never really had Nyzier Fourqurean last season. Geimere Latimer left for the portal and eventually landed at West Virginia with his brother, Amari Latimer. So, Wisconsin not only needed more cornerbacks, but Fickell was looking for potential and known starters.
