The Wisconsin Badgers are on a roll in the 2027 recruiting class. Historic-level recruiting that could shape the Badgers' future for a long time. With 22 commits already in the class, there probably won't be much more action, at least in the summer period. The goal will flip to making sure the Badgers retain all these players and don't see any flip to other programs.
Wisconsin may be close to being done, but it isn't quite there. There are still four players to keep an eye on as Luke Fickell prepares to close the class for the summer.
2 more visitors - 4-star Bennett Konkey and 3-star Finn Walker
There are actually still two more uncommitted players set to visit Madison next week. Each adds a little intrigue and excitement. 4-star wide receiver Bennett Konkey is a name to know. He's receiving a ton of praise for his high school success and his blazing speed. Konkey is a player who wants to use every single official visit allowed. He set up all five at Northwestern, Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, and concludes with Wisconsin.
The good news for the Badgers is that they get to leave the final impression. Fickell and company will have the last crack at him. This is also the case for 3-star edge rusher Finn Walker, who has visited Arizona, SMU, and Oklahoma State. He is currently on the campus of Arkansas and will finish up next week in Madison.
Either would be big final pieces to the 2024 class and would only propel the Badger recruiting rankings up even higher. Both are probably more likely than the following two players, but don't rule out some surprises from the next two recruits.
1 potential flip - 3-star Edge Brody Pfannenstiel

There's also still the possibility of getting Pfannenstiel to flip from Texas Tech. He gave Wisconsin a chance to flip him and left Madison, saying he had a lot to think about. Mentioning that he could see himself as a Badger. However, he's on his official visit to Texas Tech this weekend, and all signs point to the Red Raiders retaining him.
However, recruiting is wild, and this is a recruiting that Fickell and company have yet to give up on. The Badgers continue to make a push for the 3-star edge.
1 recruit left thinking - 4-star OT Alijah Shaw
Finally, Alijah Shaw came on his visit last weekend and has yet to commit to a program. According to 24/7 Sports, he has only gone on two visits: Arkansas and Wisconsin. Everything has been extremely quiet on his recruiting. It's eerily quiet for every fanbase looking for information. In fact, there wasn't even much reporting done on his visit to Madison. If the Wisconsin recruiting insiders didn't mention he was in town, it would have appeared he never came.
Shaw would be a huge addition and maybe the most important on this entire list. He's a monster at 6'8 and closing in on 300 pounds. He's a 4-star recruit with 5-star potential. If Fickell can find a way to close the deal on Shaw, that would be a grand slam.
