The Wisconsin Badgers are in full football mode as they are in their second week of fall camp at Platteville. There is almost too much content coming out of those practices, and it would be easy to miss some of the more important notes, which is where the links and news start in this article.

Impressive groups and performances at fall camp

Luke Fickell mentioned a specific lineman by name as a player they would be in big trouble if they didn't have him. It was a surprising name as its backup center Kerry Kodanko. Kodanko could be the unsung hero for the Badgers this season. Read about what Fickell said here.

He also shouted out a position group as the most impressive and competitive. This one is less surprising as it's the running back room. However, hearing that should be music to the Wisconsin fans' ears, as it seems we've lost that room over the years, but now it's back.

As usual, Nick Osen's notebook is a must-read. There's also a good article on Badger Notes about Mason Reiger that would be a worthwhile read.

Nolan Winter getting NBA workouts ahead of the season

A video was posted and then highlighted by John Blackwell of Nolan Winter doing what most 7-footers can't do. Blackwell called him "different." It is an impressive video and something that should excite Badger fans for the upcoming season. You can read that article here.

Former Badgers in the NFL News

The 49ers cut former Wisconsin QB Tanner Mordecai. Last season, he was on the practice squad for the whole year.

We also see that OL Tanor Bortolini is listed as the Indianapolis Colts' starting center in their latest depth chart. Jonathan Taylor is also the starting running back, and Hunter Wohler is listed as the backup safety.
